Tasks

Metrics for active and priority shipments, status distribution, branch activity, volume, cost, and profitability.
Bulk Excel import
Upload hundreds of shipment records at once via Excel or CSV, with live preview, field validation, and confirmation before committing.

Team and access control
Create accounts for managers and staff, then keep each team focused on the workspace areas they need.
Customer tracking link
A public tracking page that needs the job number and the customer's phone, so customers stop calling operations for status.
Activity audit trail
Every critical action is logged with who did it, when, and what changed for accountability across your team.
Operational costing fields
Cost, charge, and margin fields help management understand financial performance per shipment.
Branding and workflow settings
Customize company name, brand color, logo, notification templates, and workflow routing rules from the settings panel.
Receipts and payments
Numbered receipts and payments linked to shipments, with amount in words and bilingual PDFs. Voiding keeps a record with the reason; Admin and Finance issue, Managers view.
Offline-friendly
Loaded data stays readable when the connection drops and a banner shows your status. Saving needs a connection; notification updates are queued and sent when you are back online.
Smart notifications
Choose which events reach in-app, push and WhatsApp, set quiet hours for push, and see delivery status per device. A daily WhatsApp summary is available with your WhatsApp Business setup.
Job numbers and checklists
Unique job numbers per category and year, issued together with the shipment so two people never get the same one, plus a document checklist per shipment so nothing is missed before release.
Enquiries, customers and priorities
Turn enquiries into jobs in one click, keep a customer directory with Excel import, and flag priority shipments so urgent work stays on top.
Plans, backups and exports
Clear plans with user and monthly shipment limits, usage alerts before you reach them, and data exports you can download whenever you need.
From workspace setup to live operations
Set up the workspace
Add company details, branches, and team members so the system matches your operation.
Move shipment files in
Create shipments manually or import Excel files, then connect documents and tasks to each job.
Operate and update customers

Analyse and collect
Track margins, receipts and workload in the dashboard, and export your data whenever you need it.
Frequently asked questions
- What is FreightOps?
- FreightOps is freight forwarding and customs clearance software for Saudi logistics teams. It brings shipments, containers, documents, tasks, enquiries, receipts, payments, notifications, branches and users into one bilingual (Arabic and English) workspace.
- Which shipment types are supported?
- Import, export, transit and freehand jobs. Each has its own status flow, container list, references (MBL, HBL, vessel, Bayan number, SABER), dates and costing fields.
- Does FreightOps connect to FASAH, Bayan or SABER?
- No. FreightOps does not integrate with government or customs systems. It records your Bayan number, SABER certificate, HS code and duty per shipment, and shows clearance milestones based on the statuses your team updates.
- Does it issue ZATCA e-invoices?
- No. FreightOps issues receipts and payments, not tax invoices. Keep using your accounting system for ZATCA e-invoicing.
- Is it available in Arabic?
- Yes. The whole interface is available in Arabic with right-to-left layout and a Hijri date option, and receipt and payment PDFs print in Arabic and English with the amount in words. Push and in-app notification messages are currently in English.
- Where is our data stored?
- Your database runs on Google Cloud Firestore in the Dammam region (me-central2). Each company has an isolated workspace protected by database security rules.
- Does it work without internet?
- Partly. Pages you have already opened stay readable offline and a banner shows your connection. Creating or saving shipments, tasks, enquiries and customers needs a connection and tells you so; notification updates are queued and sent when you are back online.
- What user roles are there?
- Admin, Manager, Finance and Staff. Admins manage users and settings, managers see all operations and the audit ledger, finance issues receipts and payments, and sees financial analytics, and staff edit the shipments they own or created. Branches are used to organise and filter work.
- Can we import our existing shipments from Excel?
- Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file (up to 2,000 rows) with Arabic or English column headers. A preview validates every row before anything is saved, and your plan's monthly shipment limit is respected. Shipments can also be exported to Excel or CSV.
- Can customers get WhatsApp updates?
- Yes, two ways. Staff can send a ready-made WhatsApp message with the tracking link for any shipment status. Automatic WhatsApp and email messages use your own WhatsApp Business and SMTP settings and currently send when a shipment reaches Ready to Load.
- Can customers track their shipment?
- Yes. Customers open a public tracking page and enter the job number and their phone number to see status, container status, route and dates. Documents and financial data are never shown. It is a lookup page, not a customer login portal.
- Can we issue receipts and payments?
- Yes. Numbered receipts and payments linked to shipments, with a bilingual PDF and the amount in words. Voided entries are kept with the reason. An admin switches the module on; Admin and Finance issue receipts and payments and Managers can view them.
- How does pricing work?
- Plans are priced in SAR, monthly or yearly, and set the number of users and the number of shipments created per month. New workspaces start with a 14-day trial. You get alerts at 80% and 100% of your monthly shipments; nothing is deleted if you go over, and upgrades are requested in the app.
- How is our data protected?
- Access is role-based, each company's data is isolated by security rules, key actions are recorded in an audit ledger, and our support team can only open a support session when your admin grants time-limited access. FreightOps does not yet offer two-factor sign-in or security certifications.
